I had the pleasure of checking out this 1:35 scale T-90A Vladimir model built by Kirill Yakshin, and my first impression was the impressive weathering work. The dusty look really brings out a sense of realism, like the tank just rolled off a battlefield. It’s tricky to get that balance right—too little, and the model feels incomplete; too much, and it looks overdone. Here, it’s just enough to give it character without overwhelming the sharp lines and details of the T-90A.

Speaking of the T-90A itself, here’s a neat tidbit: this tank has a modern and complex armor system, which is designed to make it tougher against enemy fire. It can even handle threats from helicopters and anti-tank missiles. That’s pretty nifty for a piece of machinery that traces its lineage back to the Soviet T-72!

In the end, what makes this model kit by Zvezda stand out is how it captures the rugged essence of the real thing. It’s a gem for anyone interested in military vehicles or diorama enthusiasts. Plus, there’s just something about seeing all those fine details come together that’s pretty satisfying. Definitely worth a closer look if you’re into tanks and military gear.
