Checking out Andrey Kraskin’s 1:35 scale model of the T-70B, the first thing that grabs my attention is the incredible attention to weathering. It’s subtle but adds so much depth. The soft streaks and scratches give this miniature tank a story of its own, as if it’s rolled straight through a battlefield. It really does bring a sense of realism and character to the model.

Now, speaking of the T-70B itself, here’s something I found pretty cool. During WWII, this Soviet light tank was actually a bit of a multitasker. Not only was it used for reconnaissance due to its speed, but it also supported infantry with its decent firepower for a light tank. In fact, I heard it even filled some gaps when the production of heavier tanks couldn’t quite keep up.

So, looking at this model, what makes it stand out? It’s the way it captures the essence of the real thing. The weathering touches blend history with craft, and it’s those details that make this piece deserve a closer look. It’s not just a model—it’s a slice of history brought to life on a small scale.
