I’m really impressed with Pavel Cherepanov’s build of the Type 95 Ha-Go in 1:35 scale by Dragon. The weathering on this model adds a nice touch, making it look like it’s just rolled off the battlefield. Those subtle dirt stains and paint chips give it a worn, realistic feel that I adore. It’s those little details that breathe life into the model, and I find myself coming back to them with each glance.
Now, a quick dive into the history of the real tank. The Type 95 Ha-Go was a light tank used by Japan during World War II. Interestingly, it was designed to be nimble and fast, perfect for the terrains in China and Southeast Asia which often dictated the style of combat. It wasn’t exactly a behemoth with its armor, but it got the job done in its heyday.
Overall, what makes this model stand out is how it captures the essence of a historical vehicle with genuine care. It’s a little piece of history you can hold, and it certainly deserves a spot on any enthusiast’s shelf. Seeing how it’s been crafted and painted just adds to the appreciation of the real thing. I can’t wait to see what’s next from Pavel!
