The first thing that really catches my eye here is the weathering on Vyacheslav’s build of the Sd.Kfz.184 Elefant. It adds such a nice touch, giving the model a sense of history and wear—as if it’s traversed countless battlefields. The subtle dirt effects on the tracks and the gentle rust on the metal components bring a really authentic look to the model. It’s like the model tells a story all on its own.

From what I’ve read about the real Elefant, it was a formidable piece of machinery. Initially deployed in 1943, it was designed as a heavy tank destroyer. Despite its weight and initial mechanical issues, the Elefant was well-known for its powerful gun. On the battlefield, it proved to be quite a beast, smashing through enemy armor with ease, although it struggled a bit with mobility and reliability.

Overall, I think Vyacheslav’s model is definitely worth a look. Dragon’s 1:35 scale kit provides a great platform, and the attention to detail here makes it compelling. Whether you’re into military history or just appreciate a finely crafted model, there’s something about this piece that draws you in, making you want to explore all its details.
