Just took a look at Henrik Mkrtchyan’s build of the Mi-24K model by Zvezda, and what immediately stands out to me is the neatness of the assembly. The level of precision in the paint job really shines, especially the way the colors blend seamlessly across the body — it’s all very clean and tight. When models are this tidy, you can really appreciate all the lines and shapes without any distractions.
The Mil Mi-24, in real life, is an interesting beast. Known as a “flying tank,” this helicopter isn’t your usual rotatory aircraft. It’s famous not only for its robust battle capabilities but also for being able to transport troops right into the action. I always find it fascinating how it combined the roles of an attack helicopter and a troop transport in one solid design.
What makes this model particularly worthy of attention is the way it captures that unique essence of the Mi-24K. The execution of the details allows us to get a real feel for the helicopter’s imposing presence. Plus, with the 1:72 scale, it’s compact enough to display prominently but detailed enough to satisfy any enthusiast’s penchant for realism. Honestly, it’s a great piece for anyone who appreciates military aviation.
