Right off the bat, what stands out to me about Dmitriy Ivanov’s Tu-22 M3 model is the paint job. It’s clean and sharp, really bringing out the sleek lines of the aircraft. The subtle variations in shading add a lot of depth, making it look as though this bomber just rolled off the runway. It’s clear a lot of care went into keeping the paint tidy, and it pays off.

Now, a little tidbit about the real Tu-22 M3, which I find pretty cool: back in its day, this supersonic bomber was capable of carrying heavy payloads at high speeds, making it a bit of a game-changer. From what I’ve read, it was a significant force in the Cold War era, designed to cover long distances quickly. Dmitriy’s model really captures that sense of power and purpose.

Overall, this model stands out not only because of its meticulous paintwork but also the story it tells. It’s a piece that reflects both craftsmanship and history, and it’s one I think any military aviation enthusiast would appreciate having in their collection. Seeing how much effort and passion goes into recreating such an iconic aircraft is what makes this hobby so rewarding.
