Checking out Pavel Safonov’s Su-30SM2 model in 1:72 scale by Zvezda is quite the experience. Right from the start, what strikes me is the level of detail in the paint and decals. The sharp markings and smooth finish immediately catch the eye, and I think it’s fascinating how the panel lines stand out, giving the model a real sense of depth.
What really grabs me about the Su-30SM2 is its lineage. It’s like taking a peek into the evolution of modern aviation. The real thing, based on the Sukhoi family, has been a staple in Russian air forces, and this model captures its essence beautifully. The meticulous detail on this model, especially the subtle weathering, adds an authentic touch, giving the impression that it’s seen some action without being overdone.
