I’m looking at Matvey Bogdanov’s build of the Jaguar Gr.Mk1 “Pustynnye Koshki.” The first thing that catches my eye is the weathering; there’s something about the way it adds realism to the sandy paint scheme. It’s like the fighter just rolled out from a desert mission, and those touches of dirt and scuffs really make it feel alive.

A bit of history on this aircraft — the Jaguar Gr.Mk1 was originally a collaboration between the UK and France. It was designed for ground attack with a speed that helped it dodge enemy radar back in the day. From what I understand, it was quite a versatile machine, seeing action in various conflicts where its rugged design shone through.

What really makes this model interesting is how it captures the essence of the original aircraft so well. There’s a level of attention to detail that just draws you in. The paintwork brings out the character of the plane, and the assembly looks clean. It’s definitely one of those builds that stand out on the shelf. If you’re into models with personality, this one’s worth a look.
